Tardelli sees echoes of Trapattoni in Motta’s Juventus revival

Marco Tardelli, former Juventus player and 1982 World Cup champion, has drawn an intriguing parallel between the current Juventus team under Thiago Motta and the squad he played in when Giovanni Trapattoni took charge. Speaking to La Stampa (via Calciomercato), Tardelli expressed his optimism about Juventus’ prospects for the season, citing multiple factors that suggest a smooth journey ahead.

The Bianconeri have made a scintillating start to their campaign, securing two victories with six goals scored and none conceded against Como at home and Verona away. This impressive performance comes despite the absence of several new signings.

Tardelli highlighted the presence of an ambitious and courageous coach in Motta:
