Torino management have confirmed that the club are in talks with both Juventus and Inter for the transfer of Bremer. The 25-year-old was voted defender of the season in Serie A 2021-22 and confirmed he would be leaving the Granata earlier this summer.
Sky Sport Italia and various other Italian media outlets reported yesterday that the Bianconeri had made a late bid to try and sign the Brazilian international and had taken the lead over Inter.
Later reports from Gianluca Di Marzio suggested Inter had met with their Torino counterparts and talks were still ongoing with the Nerazzurri not out of the race yet.
Speaking to Sky yesterday evening, Torino President Urbano Cairo confirmed:
“When things are done, they are said. Bremer to Juve? I won’t comment, don’t let me say anything. As soon as I have news I will talk about it.”
Torino sporting director Davide Vagnati confirmed along similar lines, saying:
“We are in negotiations with both Inter and Juventus for Gleison Bremer.”
Talks are due to continue today with a decisive outcome expected before the end of the day.
