Vlahovic and Juventus fans reconcile

Dusan Vlahovic and Juventus fans have reached a resolution following a brief but intense dispute that occurred after the team’s recent match against Venezia. The Serbian striker faced backlash from a section of the crowd after a disappointing 2-2 draw, which marked the fourth consecutive game in Serie A where Juventus failed to secure a win. The tension escalated when Vlahovic reacted angrily to the jeers from the Curva Sud, leading to a heated exchange.

However, during the pre-match buildup for the Coppa Italia clash against Cagliari, Vlahovic received a warm welcome from the fans at Allianz Stadium. Supporters rallied behind him, chanting his name and encouraging him to come closer to their section. The “Viking Juve” fan group even displayed a banner outside the stadium that read, “A single gesture does not erase the past… You have always been respected by us! Juventus DV9 and Ultras united UNTIL THE END!”

In light of Vlahovic’s contract, which runs until 2026, discussions regarding his renewal have been ongoing for several months. Juventus’ sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, addressed these negotiations, indicating that they would resume after the January transfer window. He emphasized that both Vlahovic and his agent have maintained an excellent relationship with the club, stating, “There is time to sort things out and move forward in the best possible way.”
