The latest Dusan Vlahovic transfer news has now revealed he may stay at Juventus. Can Luciano Spalletti convince him to sign a new deal?
Vlahovic was on the scoresheet for the fifth time this season as the Bianconeri ran out 3-1 winners over Udinese on matchday 9.
The Serbian star has less than a year to run on his current contract. A number of potential suitors all pursued Vlahovic in the summer but a move never came to fruition.

Dusan Vlahovic Transfer News
With Luciano Spalletti on the verge of being announced as the new Juventus manager, star striker Dusan Vlahovic has hinted he may stay in Turin.
Even though the Vlahovic price tag this January is extremely appealing – reportedly set at €15million – the Serbian international is somewhat tempted to work under Spalletti.
Vlahovic admitted “never say never” when quizzed on the possibility about renewing his contract. His current deal expires in June and a number of clubs remain interested.
They include English Premier League duo Manchester United and Tottenham. LaLiga giants Barcelona have also been strongly linked with the former La Viola star alongside Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
How Luciano Spalletti Can Convince Dusan Vlahovic To Stay At Juventus
Throughout his managerial career, Luciano Spalletti has been in charge of a number of world class stars. Francesco Totti is perhaps the biggest name alongside the likes of Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Spalletti is renowned for his personalized and tactical approach. Furthermore, he typically adopts a style that suits his strongest players. That in itself will likely get Dusan Vlahovic to consider staying put.
Something of which the Serbian international will also be buoyed by is Spalletti’s preferred formation. The Italian boss puts a lot of emphasis on an attacking 4-2-3-1 lineup.
Spalletti has a history of building his side around his better players. If the 66-year-old tactician makes Vlahovic his most invaluable star, that will surely go a long way in convincing the Serb to pen new terms.
How Many Goals Has Dusan Vlahovic Scored For Juventus?
Since joining Juventus in January 2022, Dusan Vlahovic has scored 63 goals in all competitions for the Serie A giants. He has also chipped in with 15 assists across 157 appearances.
His stats are impressive considering there have been times in his Juve career whereby supporters feel they haven’t seen the best of him. Which has largely boiled down to his contract saga and regular change in management.
However, someone with the experience and tactical know-how of Luciano Spalletti can potentially make Vlahovic a 40-goal-a-season striker.
Spalletti has a history of getting the very best out of his strikers. Victor Osimhen is perhaps the most prime and recent example as he fired Napoli to the 2022-23 Scudetto. Something of which Vlahovic could easily replicate under Spalletti.
What Trophies Has Luciano Spalletti Won?
Not only will Luciano Spalletti’s personalized approach to getting the best out of Dusan Vlahovic be a key factor in him potentially signing a new deal, Spalletti is a proven winner, too.
He was the first Napoli boss to win Serie A since Alberto Bigon did so in 1989-90. The Scudetto success in 2022-23 was largely down to the impact and brilliance of star players such as Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Spalletti gave them the freedom and confidence to blossom which immediately paid dividends. During his time at Roma, the former Azzurri boss won consecutive Coppa Italia titles as well as a Supercoppa Italiana.
Whilst at Zenit St Petersburg, Spalletti won two Russian Premier League titles as well as the Russian Cup and Russian Super Cup.
His individual accolades include three Serie A Coach of the Year awards. Spalletti has also been named as the Serie A Coach of the Season for his title success with Napoli.
Not only will Vlahovic get the TLC he desires if he pens a new deal, his own chances of winning the best prizes in soccer will increase dramatically under Spalletti’s stewardship.
