Grealish had been a long-term target for the Italian champions. Having now been snubbed by the 2023 treble winner, Antonio Conte has plenty of other suitors to go after.

Jack Grealish Transfer News
According to Fabrizio Romano, Jack Grealish has agreed to move to Everton on a season-long loan deal. A €57m buy option has been included which is not mandatory.
The news comes a blow to Napoli who had been strongly linked with the midfielder all summer. Antonio Conte’s side – who are +190 with offshore sportsbooks to win the Scudetto – will now have to focus upon other players.
Reuniting Grealish with Kevin De Bruyne is something of which Conte wanted to materialize at the Maradona Stadium. The duo are still good friends off the pitch but Grealish has opted to stay in England.
As disappointed as supporters will be, there will still be the chance to snare the former Aston Villa star next summer if things don’t work out on the blue half of Merseyside.
Napoli Transfer Targets
With Jack Grealish on the brink of joining Everton on loan, what Napoli transfer targets will head coach Antonio Conte turn his attention to?
With Scott McTominay nominated for the 2025 Ballon d’Or and Kevin De Bruyne on board, Conte is pretty well stacked for central attacking midfielders.
Out wide, the Italian boss is still very much in the mix for Raheem Sterling, Federico Chiesa, Alejandro Garnacho and even Ademola Lookman.
Even Sassuolo’s Armand Lauriente has been mentioned. Last season’s Golden Boot winner in Serie B saw a move to Sunderland collapse last month.
Who Has Napoli Signed This Summer?
Despite missing out on Jack Grealish this summer, Napoli have been able to welcome a number of new players to the Maradona Stadium.
Kevin De Bruyne was the marquee addition when he transferred in June. The Belgian baller joined on a free transfer from Man City.
Winger Noa Lang joined from PSV with Italian forward Lorenzo Lucca transferring from Udinese. Goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic is also on board alongside Dutch defender Sam Beukema.
Other additions include Emanuele Rao, Mathias Ferrante and Luca Marianucci. Grealish won’t be joining that list of players but Conte will now put his full efforts in acquiring a new star who can play on the right-hand side.
