Palacios, born in 2003, joins Inter on a permanent basis, with reports suggesting the transfer fee is around €6.5 million, including potential add-ons. The 21-year-old center-back is expected to provide depth to the squad, particularly in light of Tajon Buchanan’s injury, which will keep him sidelined until at least December.
The young defender will serve as a backup for Italy international Alessandro Bastoni, while Carlos Augusto is set to fill in for Federico Dimarco when necessary. Palacios’ arrival is seen as a strategic move to bolster the team’s defensive options as they aim to maintain their title-winning form.
