Juventus have been docked 10 Serie A points following a verdict from Federal Court of Appeal over alleged capital gains. The Bianconeri were initially docked 15 points in the first hearing which took place earlier this year, only for the verdict to be temporarily revoked following an appeal. The CONI court referred the case back to the Court of Appeal, who have given their verdict today.
FIGC Prosecutor Giuseppe Chiné had initially requested an 11-point penalty from the court, an increase from the nine points he had originally requested in January 2023. The new penalty puts Juventus in 7th place in the standings, outside the Champions League placings, with three Serie A matches left to play,
The Bianconeri are allowed to appeal the decision once again, but it is unlikely to be successfu.
