OFFICIAL: Juventus have signed Vasilije Adzic

Juventus has officially announced the signing of Vasilije Adzic, the 18-year-old Montenegrin talent, on a contract extending until June 30, 2027. The young midfielder’s development will be split between the First Team and Juventus Next Gen.

Adzic has been rapidly progressing through his career milestones, making his professional debut for Buducnost Podgorica in April 2022. In that debut match, he immediately found the back of the net, becoming the second-youngest goalscorer in the history of Montenegro’s top division.

The talented youngster played a significant role in Buducnost Podgorica’s championship-winning 2022/2023 season, contributing 3 goals in 23 appearances. His impact grew even more substantial in the following season, where he featured in 42 matches across all competitions, scoring 8 goals and providing 4 assists.

Adzic’s European experience includes four appearances in UEFA club competitions with Buducnost Podgorica – two in Champions League qualifying and two in Conference League qualifying. In just 86 minutes of Conference League play, he managed to score once and provide an assist.

His rapid rise has also seen him break into the Montenegro Under-21 national team, where he has already opened his goalscoring account. This follows his progression through the country’s youth ranks from Under-15 to Under-19 levels.
