Lazio have confirmed that coach Maurizio Sarri has renewed his contract with the club until 2025. The deal was reportedly struck some time back, with only a formal announcement expected to officially confirm the news. Sarri led the Biancocelesti to a 5th place finish last season, earning them a place in next seasons Europa League.
An announcement on Lazio’s official website confirmed the news earlier today:
S.S. Lazio announces that the technician Maurizio Sarri has renewed the contract with the Club extending the expiry of the agreement until 2025.”
Sarri managed Lazio for 48 games in total, winning 21, drawing 14 and losing 13 in the 2021-22 campaign.
