Napoli have announced the signing of Denmark international Jesper Lindstrom on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt, which includes an obligation to sign him outright. The 23-year-old was awarded the Bundesliga’s Rookie of the Season award in 2021-22 and went on to score 9 goals in his second season, winning the Europa League with Eintracht in 2022.
Napoli have now confirmed the youngsters signing for a reported €5m for the first season, while committing to sign the Dane outright for €20m including bonuses at a later date.
Lindstrom has signed a five-year contract with the Partenopei, earning around €2.5m per season.
Addressing Napoli supporters, Lindstrom said: “I am very happy to join this club and looking forward to seeing you out in the stadium.”
