Paul Pogba claims he is target of organised gang

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba says he has been the victim of extortion and threats from an organised gang, which includes his brother. Mathias Pogba had previously posted a video online where he claimed he would release information about Paul which would affect his sibling’s popularity around the world.

FranceInfo now report that Paul has responded to the video, revealing that he has been the target of an attempted extortion by a gang.

The gang reportedly includes childhood friends and also his brother, Mathias, who attempted to extort €13m from the Juventus midfielder.

In March 2022, Paul was on international when he visited family in Langy-sur-Marne where friends took him to an apartment, and accused him of not helping them out since he went pro. Pogba was then asked to part with €13m for ‘service rendered’ as the group claimed they had been ‘protecting him discreetly’ behind the scenes.

The blackmailers visited Pogba in Manchester in April of this year and again in July at the Juventus training facility.

The group also attempted to discredit the French international by falsely claiming that Paul asked a witch doctor to cast a spell on Kylian Mbappé, something Pogba vehemently denies.
