PSG 2-1 Juventus Player Ratings

Start

Paris Saint-Germain were the dominant side in their 2-1 victory over Juventus but the Bianconeri managed a spirited second half performance.

PSG

Donnarumma: Fantastic reaction save to deny Milik and a handful of other could stops but made an error on the Juve goal. 6.0/10

Ramos: Most telling contribution in the opening exchanges was to pick up a booking. Helped stem the flow of Juventus attacks in the second half. 6.0/10

Marquinhos: Excellent early pass to unleash Mbappe that was almost finished. Seemed to struggle against the movement of Vlahovic. 5.5/10

Kimpembe: Did well enough without any frills. 6.0/10

Hakimi: Excellent linkup play to setup the second PSG goal and a brilliant outlet down the right. 6.5/10

Vitinha: Understated excellence in the heart of the midfield. 6.5/10

Verratti: Excellent all game, constantly finding space supplying clever passes while showing his combative side as well. 7.0/10

Mendes: A good threat down the left side, but Cuadrado had his beating on occasion. 5.5/10

Messi: A little quiet by his usual high standards but still played some great passes. 6.0/10

Mbappe: Amazing work on the early goal, Neymar to Mbappe and back, folllowed by an unstoppable finish. Took his second goal beautifully. What a talent. 8.5/10

Neymar: Sublime link-up to set up the opener which was unstoppable. Similar on the second goal which was taken brilliantly. An excellent player when not succumbing to histrionics. 7.5/10

Juventus

Perin: Could do nothing on the goals but made a good save to deny Neymar in the second half and put in a generally great shop-stopping performance. 6.0/10

Danilo: A muddling performance capped off by a needless booking. 4.5/10

Bonucci: Lacked the pace to contend with the PSG attack at times. 4.5/10

Bremer: All too easily outsmarted by Mbappe on the opener and made a reckless tackle on the same player to earn the first booking. 4.5/10

Cuadrado: Tried the best he could to be an outlet on the right and whipped a couple of great crosses. 6.0/10

Miretti: Some nice early balls but struggled to really get a foothold in the game and earned a harsh booking. 5.0/10

Rabiot: Ball watching on the opening goal but improved when the game was already gone. 5.5/10

Paredes: Took a while to get going but when the players around him started attacking, he was able to find pockets of space with smart passes. 6.0/10

Kostic: Not sure he touched the ball in the opening half with the exception of a shot blazed wide. Decent effort straight at Donnarumma in the second half and eventually supplied the cross for the opener. Improved a great deal as the game developed and was a constant threat in the closing stages. 6.0/10

Milik: Brilliant chance to draw Juve level, headed straight at Donnarumma and was generally the more threatening of the two strikers. 6.0/10

Vlahovic: Lacking service all half and was bullied off the ball a little too easily at times. 5.5/10

Substitutions:

McKennie: Brilliant header to get Juve back in the game. 6.5/10

Locatelli: Better than he has been in recent weeks. 6.0/10
