French side Paris Saint-Germain are expected to return with another bid for Inter centre-back Milan Skriniar. The deal has been long speculated on, however the Nerazzurri have stuck to their guns and refused to budge on price.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the Parisians are expected to make a new offer in the region of €65m for the Slovakian defender, an increase on their previous offer which was in the region of €50m.
Inter previously were prepared to hold out for a €70m offer, but as the two sides failed to agree terms, the talks were suspended and Skriniar was expected to remain in Milan for now.
Gazzetta suggest that despite the new offer, the Nerazzurri would require a ‘crazy’ offer in the region of €90m for the club to consider the players sale. With only two weeks left in the transfer market, the club would only entertain a high offer so as to allow them to find a reinforcement.
For now, its suggested that any offers not close to Inter’s valuation will be rejected by club president Steven Zhang.
