After his impressive double against Italy in the Nations League, French midfielder Adrien Rabiot has turned his focus back to the league and his club, Marseille.
During a press conference ahead of the match against Lens, the 29-year-old former Juventus player discussed the future of a player who has just left the Bianconeri, Paul Pogba: “I would advise him to come to Marseille. Paul is a talented player, if he shows all his physical capabilities and is in good shape, he remains a top player. He hasn’t played for a while. It’s complicated to return to high levels.”
Rabiot also commented on his decision to embark on a new adventure with a club like Marseille: “I came to Marseille because I believe in this project, the coach is a great coach. If there were talented players like Pogba who wanted to come to Marseille, I would only tell them positive things. I want to play with the best players.”
