Rade Krunic set to join Fenerbahce

Start

Milan midfielder Rade Krunic is all set to complete a transfer to Turkish side Fenerbahce, with just the last details to finalise. The 30-year-old joined the Rossoneri in 2019 and gradually worked his way into the starting XI, playing a key role during the injury absence of teammate Ismael Bennacer.

Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Bosnian midfielder has asked Milan to leave the club, having featured just 14 times so far this season, largely from the bench.

The Turkish club have agreed on a €5 million deal for Krunic, plus bonuses, with Sky suggesting that only the last details remain to be finalised.

Talking about Krunic’s situation Pioli said in a recent press conference: “He didn’t take himself out, his performance is no longer what it was before and I have made choices. It’s better for us that he’s looking for another team.”
