Milan winger Rafael Leao has a €150 million release clause in his contract which the club are looking to renew. The talented Portuguese international was at the heart of the Rossoneri’s title push this season and set-up all three goals in their 3-0 victory over Sassuolo yesterday.
An exclusive report from Calciomercato.com has revealed that Leao had the release clause inserted into his contract following his arrival from Lille in 2019.
According to the report, Leao’s agent Jorge Mendes was initially against having the clause included but Milan are not prepared to accept anything less than €150m for their starlet. The Rossoneri are also currently at work to renew the deal, improving the youngster’s salary in the process.
Since arriving at the club, Leao has attracted attention from across Europe’s elite clubs, including Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.
