Roma and Juventus discussing Zakaria deal

Juventus and Roma are in advanced talks regarding a move for Swiss midfielder Denis Zakaria this summer. The Giallrossi lost Gini Wijnaldum last week after he sustained an injury in a training session and have been forced to return to the transfer market to find a replacement.

Goal Italia’s Romeo Agresti writes that the two clubs are now in talks for Zakaria to join Roma on loan for the season, although the club have a number of potential targets for the middle of the pitch.

Calciomercato journalist Daniele Longo writes that the Giallorossi are indeed ‘All-in’ for Zakaria while RadioRadio report that Roma will look to sign the midfielder outright, rather than on loan.

They also suggest that the sale will result in Juventus using the funds to immediately sign Leandro Paredes from PSG before the transfer window closes.
