Roma consider Chiesa as potential Dybala replacement amid Saudi Interest

Start

Roma are reportedly preparing for the possibility of losing Paulo Dybala to a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia, with Juventus winger Federico Chiesa emerging as a top target to fill the potential void.

According to Tuttosport, Saudi Pro League club Al-Qadsiah has shown significant interest in Dybala, with rumored contract offers ranging from €60 million to as high as €100 million over three years. The substantial financial package has prompted Roma to consider contingency plans.

Should Dybala opt for the move to Saudi Arabia, Roma is expected to intensify their pursuit of Chiesa. The Italian international has fallen out of favor at Juventus, making him a prime candidate for a transfer. Roma sees Chiesa as an ideal replacement for Dybala’s creativity and attacking prowess.

While Chiesa remains the primary target, Roma is also exploring other options. Nice forward Jeremie Boga, formerly of Sassuolo and Atalanta, is another name on their radar.

As for Dybala, he is reportedly still weighing his options. A decision is expected by early next week, with the Argentine unlikely to start in Roma’s Serie A opener against Cagliari on Sunday.
