Roma linked with move for Andrea Belotti


Roma are the latest side to be linked with former Torino striker Andrea Belotti who is available as a free-agent this summer. The 28-year-old failed to agree terms over a contract renewal with the Granata after famously having a €100m release clause added to his last deal with the club.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the Giallorossi are looking to Il Gallo as a deputy to Tammy Abraham next season as they bolster their attacking positions.

The club are waiting for Eldor Shomurodov to be sold, with Bologna linked to the Uzbek striker, before making an official proposal to Belotti.

Gazzetta suggest that the player has already had talks with club coach Jose Mourinho several times this past and the Portuguese technician has reportedly wanted Belotti since his days of managing Tottenham.
