Roma are remaining optimistic about Paulo Dybala’s injury, but Sardar Azmoun could be out for up to three weeks. The Giallorossi lost both players to injury during their 1-1 draw with Fiorentina at the Olimpico on Sunday evening, leaving them stretched for attacking options.
Il Tempo report that Dybala has suffered a calf injury and will require further tests today to assess the extent of this issue. Calciomercato suggest that the injury could be limited to his left flexor, and while is at risk for the weekends match with Bologna, it won’t keep him sidelined for too long
This is Dybala’s fourth injury since the start of his second season in the Italian capital.
Azmoun reportedly felt a strong discomfort in his calf, and while there’s no official word on the extent of the injury, Calciomercato suggest it will be a three week stop for the Iran international.
Roma are already without Romelu Lukaku for this weekends trip to Bologna following his straight red card in last night’s match.
