Roma’s key players Paulo Dybala and Leandro Paredes have turned down lucrative offers from Saudi Arabian clubs, choosing to remain with the Italian side. Tuttosport report that Dybala rejected a three-year contract worth €20 million per year from Al-Nassr, while Paredes declined a €10 million annual offer from Al-Ahli.
The decision of both players to stay in Rome has reportedly pleased coach Daniele De Rossi, who is keen to add another Argentine talent, Matias Soulé, to his squad. Roma’s confidence in retaining Dybala is evident, with contract renewal talks set to intensify in August after the expiration of his €12 million release clause.
Meanwhile, Roma is actively pursuing new signings. The club is close to securing Samuel Dahl from Djurgardens for around €4.5 million to strengthen the left-back position. Additionally, Roma has expressed interest in Rennes’ right-back Lorenz Assignon, although no formal bid has been made yet.
