Roma Submit New Offer to Juventus for Matias Soule

Start

Reports from Italy indicate that Roma have submitted a new offer to Juventus for Argentine winger Matias Soulé. The Giallorossi have increased their bid to €25 million plus €4 million in bonuses, up from their initial offer of €23 million plus €3 million.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus are now considering this improved proposal. Roma remains confident in their pursuit, having already secured the player’s agreement to join the club.

This latest offer brings the total potential value of the deal close to €30 million, including bonuses. Compared to their previous bid, Roma has increased the fixed portion by €2 million and the performance-related bonuses by €1 million.

The ball is now in Juventus’ court as they evaluate the offer. Roma’s position is strengthened by Soulé’s preference for a move to the Italian capital over potential opportunities in the Premier League.

Soulé, born in 2003, has attracted attention with his performances and is seen as a promising talent. Roma’s persistence in increasing their offer demonstrates their strong desire to bring the young Argentine to the club.

Earlier reports from todays La Gazzetta Dello Sport indicated that the Giallorossi would face significant competition from Premier League side West Ham in their bid to sign Soule. According to the newspaper, The Hammers were prepared to meet Juve’s asking price of €35 million, making them the Bianconeri’s preferred option to sell to.

Soule’s preference has always been Roma, and this may yet tip the scales in the capital clubs favour.
