Reports from Portuguese press claim Roma are set to sign Serbian international goalkeeper Mile Svilar as a free agent this summer. The 22-year-old currently plays for Benfica and his existing contract will expire on July 1.
Portuguese sports paper O Jogo and Sky Sport Italia report that Roma are on the verge of completing a deal with Svilar to join them next season.
Svilar has been linked with moves to a number of Europe’s elite clubs but Roma look set to beat them to the promising youngster.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Roma coach Jose Mourinho is a long-term admirer of Svilar and a deal is very close:
