Serie A giants keen on signing Benfica full-back Grimaldo

With the winter transfer window imminently approaching, numerous Serie A giants are keen on signing the Benfica full-back Alejandro Grimaldo.

So far this season, the Spaniard has one goal and four assists across all competitions for the Portuguese outfits. With the 25m full-back’s contract expiring at the end of the current campaign, many clubs have expressed a desire in acquiring the Spanish left-back.

According to reports from Tuttomercatoweb, both Juventus and Inter are eager to sign Grimaldo in order to increase the amount of depth they possess within the full-back position.

However, it seems that Grimaldo might have other plans as the left-footed defender dreams of returning to his childhood club Barcelona.

As the options on the table seem to be going on an incline as time passes by, it remains to be seen where Grimaldo’s next destination will be after six years in Lisbon.
