Serie A | Lazio v Inter: Probable starting lineups

Start

Lazio face several injury concerns as they prepare to host Atalanta in Serie A. Manager Marco Baroni will be without midfielder Matias Vecino and forwards Pedro and Tijjani Noslin due to various injuries. Centre-back Alessio Romagnoli is also doubtful with a knee issue.

Should Romagnoli recover in time, Lazio could field an unchanged lineup, with Gustav Isaksen and Boulaye Dia supporting the attack. Taty Castellanos, who opened his Serie A account against Atalanta last season at the Olimpico, has been in fine form with nine goals this campaign. Captain Mattia Zaccagni has also been influential, contributing to ten goals so far.

Atalanta, despite missing key strikers Gianluca Scamacca and Serie A top scorer Mateo Retegui, still possess significant attacking threat. Ademola Lookman is expected to partner Charles De Ketelaere up front, with the latter having scored three braces in Serie A this year, including one against Lazio in February.

The visitors receive a boost with Giorgio Scalvini potentially returning to the squad after resuming full training. Additionally, captain Marten de Roon is available again after serving a suspension, providing Gian Piero Gasperini with more options for this crucial fixture.

Lazio (4-2-3-1): Provedel; Marusic, Gila, Romagnoli, Tavares; Guendouzi, Rovella; Isaksen, Dia, Zaccagni; Castellanos

Atalanta (3-4-2-1): Carnesecchi; Kossounou, Hien, Kolasinac; Bellanova, De Roon, Ederson, Ruggeri; Pasalic, Lookman; De Ketelaere
