However, Udinese came out firing in the second half. Lorenzo Lucca quickly reduced the deficit with a powerful header from Hassane Kamara’s pinpoint cross. The momentum continued to shift in Udinese’s favor as Florian Thauvin equalized, pouncing on a rebound after Keinan Davis’ initial header.
Parma’s hopes were dealt a significant blow when Mandela Keita received his second yellow card, reducing them to ten men. Udinese seized the opportunity, and Thauvin once again proved to be the hero, scoring the winning goal in dramatic fashion.
