Sky Sport Italia report that Nicolo Fagioli is expected to face a seven month ban from football after agreeing a plea deal. The Juventus youngster self-reported himself to the Turin Public Prosecutors office, admitting to having placed bets on football, but never on Juventus matches.
Sky Sport Italia now report that Fagioli has reached a plea agreement with the prosecutors which is expected to confirm a seven-month disqualification. The report claims that just an official announcement is pending before the ban is confirmed.
The ban will mean that Fagioli will sit out the remainder of the 2023-24 season, returning before the start of the 2024-25 campaign.
