Stojkovic: ‘Milinkovic-Savic is the midfielder Juve are missing’

Serbian national team coach Dragan Stojković believes Sergeh Milinkovic-Savic is the midfielder that Juventus are currently missing. The Lazio man has a contract with the Biancocelesti until 2024 but is expected to leave after this season, with many clubs expected to vie for his signature. Despite the attention of a number of Premier League sides, Stojković believes Milinkovic-Savic belongs in Turin:

Sergei is the midfielder who Juventus lack: he would be a great signing for the bianconeri. But I’m a coach, not an executive… I’m relatively interested in where he will play in the future. Milinkovic-Savic is a champion: at Lazio, Juve or in another club he would still be a starter for Serbia.”
