Szczesny rejected Spurs interest to stay at Juventus

Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has reportedly turned down an approach from Tottenham Hotspur in favour of remaining with the Bianconeri. The former Arsenal goalkeeper joined the Old Lady from Roma in 2017, initially as an understudy to Gigi Buffon before taking over the number 1 spot.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that former Juve Sporting director Fabio Paratici, now at Spurs, made an approach to sound out Szczesny’s availability over a potential move.

According to La Gazzetta, the Polish international rejected the approach out of hand as he wants to remain with Juventus,

His current contract at the Allianz Stadium runs until the end of next season, but talks on a new contract are yet to begin between the player and club management.
