Timo Werner an option for Juventus

Chelsea forward Timo Werner is among the names Juventus are looking at as they look for a backup striker to Dusan Vlahovic. The Bianconeri have been linked with Marko Arnautovic and Andrea Bellotti in recent weeks as they continue to replace Alvaro Morata, who has returned to Atletico Madrid.

Juve coach Max Allegri is reportedly keen to bring Morata back to Turin this summer, however Atleti’s €20m price is proving to be a stumbling block for the two sides.

Sky Sport Italia report that an alternative option for the Bianconeri is Werner, who could join on loan for the season from Chelsea.

Other options, according to Sportitalia, include United striker Anthony Martial, who could be allowed to leave the club this summer, or Atalanta forward Luis Muriel, who is down to the final year of his contract in Bergamo.
