Udogie agent: ‘Initial talks with Inter’

Destiny Udogie’s agent has confirmed that he held talks with Inter over a potential transfer for the Udinese full-back. The 19-year-old was one of the break-out stars of last season, scoring five goals and providing three assists in 35 appearances for I Zebrette.

The youngster has drawn attention from Juventus, Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton but Udinese sporting director Pierpaolo Marino suggested that Udogie would not be leaving this summer.

Speaking to to FC Inter News as he left their headquarters today, Udogie’s agent Stefano Antonelli commented on the talks he held with the Nerazzurri earlier today:

It was an initial, pleasant chat with Inter, we’ll meet again to update the situation.

This was just the introductory meeting. We’ll discuss it again in future.”
