Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo could be back in action after three weeks, following his injury in their 1-0 win over Cremonese. The youngster took a knock to his shoulder and looked in real pain when he was stretchered off midway through the game yesterday.
Posting on Instagram after the game, Zaniolo seemed to suggest the injury wasn’t as bad as made out, saying: “For all the doomsayers who hoped it was something serious… we’ll see each other in three weeks’ time.”
La Gazzetta dello Sport report on the story, suggesting Zaniolo suffered a shoulder dislocation and will return to action in around three weeks.
The club are expected to put out an official injury update at some point later today.
