Aston Villa, Zenit St Petersburg and Juventus have all been linked with Galatasaray winger Nicolo Zaniolo in the last 48 hours. The Italy international joined the Turkish Super Lig winners in the winter transfer window, but has since been the subject of interest from a host of teams, including Saudi side Al-Hilal.
Turkish news outlet Fanatik report that Juventus haven’t given up hope of signing Zaniolo yet, and have offered Gala €30 million plus bonuses. The figure is close to the €35 million release clause in Zaniolo’s contract, but it’s not clear if the Turkish side would be prepared to accept, considering the interest in the player.
Sky Sport Italia report that Russian side Zenit have also held talks with Galatasaray, but no agreement was reached between the two clubs.
The latest reports indicate that Premier League side Aston Villa have made enquiries about Zaniolo and are reportedly pushing to sign the player.
Their offer is thought to be a loan with an option to buy outright, with Zaniolo thought to be high on Villa’s list of targets this summer.
