Reports from the Italian press claim Milan are looking to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic with Bologna striker Marko Arnautovic this summer. Ibra is set to play his final game for the club this weekend against Verona, with the San Siro preparing a special ceremony to say goodbye to the legendary forward.
While the Rossoneri are looking to bring in a younger striker for next season, they are also looking for a veteran player to take over Ibra’s role in the club dressing room to help guide their youthful squad.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Arnautovic is Milan’s first choice, and the club have already been in talks with his agent over a potential transfer.
The Austria international still has two years left on his contract with Bologna, who want a reported €8m to sell the veteran to the Rossoneri.
Arnautovic has been with the Rossoblu since 2021, scoring 24 goals in 56 appearances.
