Juventus management met with their Sassuolo counterparts yesterday to discuss a deal for midfielder Davide Frattesi. The 23-year-old has been a long-standing target for the Bianconeri, with the club reportedly having held talks for the player in the early part of this year.
Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Juve are looking to Frattesi as a potential replacement for Adrien Rabiot, who looks set to leave Turin on a free transfer in the weeks ahead.
Di Marzio outlines how Juventus manager Giovanni Manna and Juventus CFO Francesco Calvo met with neroverdi CEO Giovanni Carnevali yesterday to discuss a potential deal for Frattesi.
Sassuolo have reportedly asked for Juve youngster Koni De Winter, who spent last season on loan at Empoli, as part of any potential deal. Sassuolo are also scheduled to meet with Roma on Wednesday, given that they also have a long-standing interest in the youngster, who was once part of the clubs youth academy.
