Ligue 1 side AS Monaco have reportedly made a bid to sign Juventus midfielder Denis Zakaria, but West Ham also want the player. The Swiss international is not expected to feature in the Bianconeri’s plans for the new season, and will likely leave this summer to make way for Franck Kessie.
West Ham have been closely following the 26-year-old, but have yet to reach an agreement with Juventus on a transfer fee, despite having been in talks for the past two weeks.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano now reports that Monaco have made a first bid to the Bianconeri for Zakaria, who is high on their list of targets.
New Monaco coach Adi Hutter previously worked with Zakaria during their time together Borussia Mönchengladbach and is reportedly keen on bringing him to Ligue 1.
