Premier League club Manchester United are being linked with a transfer for Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee. The Dutch international has a €40 million release clause in his contract, and was thought to be in advanced talks with Milan but recent reports suggest the Rossoneri have cooled their interest.
The Athletic now reports that club-to-club talks have yet to take place with Bologna, but United are “speaking to the 23-year-old’s representatives and their interest is advanced.”
The report suggests that the player’s salary and his agents commissions are yet to be discussed, but United are very keen on acquiring the young talent.
