Juventus coach Max Allegri doesn’t fear being sacked and doesn’t feel he should resign. insisting that he feels part of the solution. The Bianconeri sunk to another Champions League defeat, this time a 2-1 loss to Benfica.
Speaking after the game, Allegri explained his tactical substitutions and why he doesn’t think he will be sacked:
Angel only had half a training session with the squad and needed playing time to regain fitness. I took Milik off because we were struggling with only two midfielders. I had to take a striker off, I took Milik off, who seemed more tired.
I feel part of the solution, I must find a solution. When I returned, I thought it would take time to build. Unfortunately, I didn’t think we could lose two games in a row. The important thing is to do well and remain in the Champions League. These defeats are annoying, but it’s useless to talk too much now.”
