Who Will Atalanta Face On 2025/26 Pre-Season Tour?
After a shocking departure in June 2025, Atalanta saw Gian Piero Gasperini leave Bergamo after nine-years in charge and the Italian moved on to take the reins at Roma.
Despite achieving great success with La Dea, turning the Italian team into a consistent Champions League side and winning the 2024 Europe League, Gasperini decided to call it a day and begin a new challenge in Rome.
Following his departure, Atalanta began their hunt for a new head coach and just a few days after Gasperini’s exit, the club appointed Ivan Juric on a two-year deal.
The Croatian’s most recent venture in management came mid-way through the 2024/25 season, as Juric took the reins at Southampton to keep the Saints in the Premier League.
However, Juric failed to keep Southampton in England’s top division and parted ways with the club swiftly after the final day – with Will Still replacing the Croatian.
Now, Juric will be looking to take Atalanta step further and push for the Scudetto, as La Dea are outsiders to win the league title on Serie A betting sites.
The former Southampton manager will get a better look at his side during the 2025/26 pre-season schedule, as Atalanta take on a host of different sides.
La Dea will begin their run of fixtures on July 26th with an in-house battle against the U23 side in Bergamo, before heading to Germany for a double-header.
On August 2nd, Atalanta will have a repeat of their 2022 Europa League quarter final clash against RB Leipzig and will face FC Koln a week later on August 9th.
Finally, Ivan Juric’s men will take on another Serie A giant in Juventus, welcoming the Old Lady to the Gewiss Stadium on August 16th – just eight days before the opening league game against Pisa.
