Milan Forward Noah Okafor Is Being Tracked By Leeds United

The latest Noah Okafor transfer news has revealed that Leeds United are interested in the Milan forward. 

Daniel Farke is keen to strengthen his attack ahead of the Whites‘ return to the English Premier League. The German boss has a number of targets he is pursuing and the Rossoneri man is the latest name on his shortlist.

Rodrigo Muniz, Josh Sargent, Roma’s Artem Dovbyk and Inter’s Mehdi Taremi have all been heavily linked with the Elland Road outfit.

Farke has so far been unable to convince any of the above to make the switch so he’s turned his attention to Okafor. Although negotiations haven’t started yet, the Leeds head coach remains hopeful a deal can be struck.

With Roma forward Artem Dovbyk admitting he wants to stay at the Stadio Olimpico amid interest from Leeds and other Premier League sides, Milan’s Noah Okafor is now being seriously considered instead.

Last weekend, the Rossoneri forward played against the Whites in a pre-season friendly in Dublin. That gave boss Daniel Farke a chance to assess Okafor up close.

The Switzerland international started at the Aviva Stadium and impressed whilst on the field. Okafor has shined in pre-season so far. He netted braces in the victories over Liverpool and Perth Glory.

With that in mind and Max Allegri willing to let Okafor quit the San Siro, Farke will instruct the Leeds hierarchy to begin official talks with the 25-year-old.

Noah Okafor Style Of Play

Operating primarily as a forward, Noah Okafor can also play as a winger. His versatility makes him an attractive proposition as he is comfortable playing in most offensive positions.

Okafor has strong dribbling skills and is regarded as a high-energy player. His attacking prowess often sees him make powerful solo runs at defenders and he likes to bring his team-mates into the game.

The Swiss star also has an abundance of pace. His close ball control makes it hard for the opposition to regain possession. Defensively, Okahor will chip in with his duties as and when required.

He has a keen eye for goal and can finish with either foot. The 25-year-old is deemed adequate in the air but overall, he has the attributes to make a great modern day forward.

Will Milan Replace Noah Okafor?

Milan will almost certainly bring in a new forward if Noah Okafor leaves. Leverkusen’s Patrik Schick has been linked alongside Man United’s Rasmus Hojlund.

Schick’s agent admitted his client would ‘love’ a move to the San Siro whereas Hojlund looks destined to return to Italy after struggling in England.

Other targets include Dusan Vlahovic. The Serbian’s time at Juventus is effectively up and he is trying to move away from Turin.

Meanwhile, Goncalo Ramos has also been touted for a Milan switch. The PSG star scored the injury-tine leveller in the Super Cup against Tottenham on August 13.
