The latest Hakim Ziyech transfer news has revealed that Bologna and Fiorentina are interested in the right midfielder.
FootItalia has been told that the Serie A duo are considering offering the Morocco international a short-term deal until the end of the season.
Ziyech is a free agent having left Al-Duhail earlier this summer. He moved to the Qatari side in January of this year but had his contract terminated by mutual consent.
Hakim Ziyech Transfer News
Although Bologna and Fiorentina have added a number of new faces to their roster this summer, the duo are considering a move for Hakim Ziyech.
The Viola are also keeping tabs on fellow free agent Sergio Reguilon. The Spanish defender is also looking for a new club after leaving Tottenham.
However, Stefano Pioli’s side alongside the Rossoblu are more focused upon increasing their attacking options for the 2025-26 season.
Ziyech would be tempted by a move to Italy and aged 32, still has plenty to offer. The Moroccan international wants to be playing European soccer ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
What Clubs Has Hakim Ziyech Played For?
Hakim Ziyech began his professional club career with Heerenveen in 2012. He spent two years with the Dutch club before moving to fellow Eredivisie side Twente two years later.
In 2016, Ziyech moved to Ajax for a reported fee of €11million. In Amsterdam, Ziyech made a name for himself and was part of the side who won the league title, the KNVB Cup and Johan Cruyff Shield in 2019.
The winger scored 22 goals in all competitions in 2018-19 and was also the recipient of Ajax’s Player of the Year award. An accolade he won three times in total.
Now regarded as one of Europe’s finest attackers, Premier League giants Chelsea signed Ziyech for €40m ahead of the 2020-21 season. He scored in his first two Blues appearances – a feat last achieved by Diego Costa.
He was also part of the side who won the 2021 Champions League but didn’t feature in the final. Ziyech also won the Super Cup and Club World Cup in the same year.
However, Ziyech struggled in the following seasons at Stamford Bridge and moved to Galatasaray in 2023 winning two league titles. After spending 18 months in Turkey, Ziyech moved to Qatar where he represented Al-Duhail 13 times in all competitions.
Throughout his club career, Ziyech has made 472 appearances and scored 134 goals. His wealth of experience and keen eye for goal would make him a fine addition to Italy’s elite soccer division.
