Earlier this week, Demetrio Albertini compared Milan midfielder Luka Modric to Italian icon Andrea Pirlo. The Croatia and Real Madrid legend certainly shares a number of similarities with Pirlo.

So much so that Rossoneri supporters have taken to the 40-year-old extremely well since he moved to the San Siro in the summer transfer window.

Modric has started all four Serie A games this season and scored the winner in the 1-0 victory against Bologna on MD3. He also has one assist to his name and featured in the Coppa Italia success against Bari.

After Napoli midfielder Kevin De Bruyne admitted he wants to win the Scudetto this season, the veteran star can stay on track to complete his aim with a victory on MD5.
