Christian Pulisic Injury News
The Rossoneri star has been ruled out of the United States’ upcoming clash against Ecuador by Mauricio Pochettino, as the USMNT did not take part in training.
An exact diagnosis has not been confirmed by the USMNT manager, however, Pochettino claimed that Pulisic has an ‘issue’ that could keep him out of the matchday squad.
This injury comes at a disappointing time for the AC Milan player as Pulisic is currently enjoying his best form in Italy and is close to agreeing a new deal with the Rossoneri.
So far in the 2025/26 season, Pulisic has contributed to eight goals in eight appearances across all competitions (6G + 2A) including a goal and assist in Milan’s 2-1 win over Serie A champions, Napoli.
Pulisic joined Milan in July 2023 after a disappointing spell with Chelsea and his time in Serie A has repaired his reputation that was tarnished in the Premier League.
The USMNT star contributed to 47 goals in 145 matches (26G + 21A) for Chelsea and despite helping the Blues win the Champions League in 2021, Pulisic was often criticized for his poor performances.
Turning his career around has not been easy, but the 27-year-old has managed to do so and will be a vital player for the Rossoneri this season.
What AC Milan Matches Will Pulisic Miss?
Massimiliano Allegri’s side have enjoyed a strong start to the 2025/26 campaign, losing just one of their six Serie A matches so far and this defeat came on the opening day of the season.
After that 2-1 defeat to Cremonese, Milan went on to beat Lecce, Bologna and Udinese without conceding a goal, before picking up four points against two-title contenders in Napoli and Juventus.
Alongside a stellar league showing, Milan also reached the Coppa Italia Ro16 and will face Lazio on December 4th, as the Rossoneri look to avenge their defeat to Bologna in last season’s final.
With both the Serie A title and Coppa Italia in Milan’s sights, Allegri will be hoping to see Pulisic return from international duty with full-fitness as the Rossoneri enter a busy period.
Milan mark the return from international duty with a home clash against Fiorentina, before welcoming Pisa to San Siro and Allegri’s side will end the month with a difficult away trip against Atalanta.
However, it’s the month of November that could really make or break Milan’s season, as the Rossoneri face Roma, Parma, Inter Milan and Lazio in a series of difficult league fixtures.
The Rossoneri will have a further understanding on Pulisic’s injury status when he returns from the USMNT camp and will be hoping to avoid any absences.
