Juve is operating on a stricter wage policy and is understood to have rejected Yildiz’s demands of €6m per year. The Serie A giants have offered €5m which hasn’t been well received.

The two parties aren’t a million miles away but Yildiz’s agent and representatives feel the increase is fully justified. Even more so as Yildiz has continued to flourish despite Juve’s struggles.

The longer the contract dispute goes on, the more it will prove advantageous to Real Madrid. Especially if Dean Huijsen can influence any potential deal.

If that were to happen, Los Blancos would be happy to offer Yildiz what he is asking for. Their gain would certainly be the Old Lady’s loss but they will earn a vast transfer fee and will have plenty of options as possible replacements to mull over.
