Juventus are willing to offload Khephren Thuram after the Frenchman’s recent performances under Luciano Spalletti.

Juventus Consider Khephren Thuram Sale

Khephren Thuram has struggled to reach the heights from last season under Luciano Spalletti and the French midfielder is now at risk of losing his place in Turin.

The 24-year-old joined Juventus in July 2024 and became an instant fan favorite during his debut season, making 51 appearances across all competitions.

However, Thuram has faced some scrutiny for his performances under Luciano Spalletti since the Italian’s appointment in late October and was dropped to the bench in Juve’s latest Champions League encounter.

The Bianconeri have highlighted the midfield area as a position to strengthen next year, being of the Serie A sides interested in Sandro Tonali and this could push Thuram out of the club.

Reports have suggested that Thuram may be replaced by the returning Fabio Miretti if his overall performances do not improve – as Spalletti continues to implement his style onto the Juventus roster.

Juve have seen some improvements under Spalletti, losing just one match so far which came in a 2-1 defeat by Napoli in their latest Serie A outing.

Failing to qualify for the Champions League would be a major disappointment for Juve and this could also force Thuram into a departure in 2026 – which has alerted multiple sides in England.

Premier League Giants Reignite Thuram Interest

Thuram was one of the most sought-after midfielders in Europe during the recent summer transfer window, attracting interest from both Arsenal and Liverpool.

The Gunners were considering a move for the French international as Mikel Arteta continues to increase the physicality in his squad and the Spaniard is a huge admirer of the Juventus star.

However, Arsenal decided to cool their interest in Thuram after Juventus demanded €70million for the Frenchman’s services which was far higher than the Premier League side’s proposition.

Arteta is now looking to reignite his interest in the 24-year-old in 2026, as the Gunners continue their pursuit for Premier League and Champions League silverware.

Another interested party from the Premier League is the current champions Liverpool, as Arne Slot continues to struggle in his second season.

Liverpool currently sit 10th in the table after winning just two of their last 10 league matches and Slot’s side face Inter Milan in the Champions League on December 9th.

Former Liverpool and Inter Milan star Paul Ince, believes the Nerazzurri can exploit Liverpool’s weaknesses and the Reds will be well-aware that another defeat could bring an end to Slot’s time in Liverpool.

However, the Premier League champions are still preparing to make some reinforcements in January and are considering a move for Thuram to help bolster the midfield.

Thuram still has four-years remaining on his deal in Turin, meaning both of these Premier League sides will need to submit a substantial bid for the Frenchman.
