Lazio are reportedly putting together a complex operation to try and deliver Atletico Madrid forward Giacomo Raspadori to Maurizio Sarri in January.

Raspadori has been identified as a key target for Lazio in the January transfer window.
And with the Italy international struggling for game time at Atletico Madrid, the Biancocelesti are sensing an opportunity to swoop.
Lazio president Claudio Lotito and sporting director Angelo Fabiani are working on several fronts to fund the move, according to Il Messaggero.
The ‘number one suspect’ who Lazio could sell, according to the outlet, is Valentin ‘Taty’ Castellanos.
Premier League outfit West Ham are keen, while Everton and Crystal Palace are also monitoring the situation.
Lazio are reportedly expecting an offer in the €25-30million range, which they could then reinvest in Raspadori.

Atletico spent €22million on the Italian forward, and Lazio are expecting to invest €20-25million if they are to sign him.
Alternatively, the Biancocelesti hierarchy is also plotting to discuss a possible loan deal with the Spanish side.
Sarri is a big fan of Raspadori and wanted to sign him in the summer, only for their transfer embargo to thwart their plans.
For the player, a return to Serie A would offer more regular football and help protect his place in Luciano Spalletti’s Italy squad.
The Azzurri will be contesting the World Cup playoffs next March ahead of the summer finals.

As bad as it was for Lazio to miss out on Raspadori in the summer, it would be so much worse if he joins their arch-rivals Roma.
Roma head coach Gian Piero Gasperini likes Raspadori and wants him on board at the Stadio Olimpico.
However, in recent hours, reports have emerged claiming Roma are pushing for Joshua Zirkzee of Manchester United.
This is great news for Lazio as it means less chance of a huge battle with their arch-rivals for such an important target.
