Roma duo Gianluca Mancini and Bryan Cristante are about to sign new long-term contracts at the club, according to reports.
Mancini and Cristante are currently under contract at Roma until summer 2027.
However, Roma have moved in advance to avoid uncertainty and protect the core of their squad.

Several sources, including Fabrizio Romano, have reported that the various parties have “almost agreed” new deals.

However, Corriere dello Sport has gone further, claiming Mancini and Cristante have in fact agreed new deals with Roma.
Both players will reportedly be committing their futures to the Giallorossi until 2030.
Mancini turns 30 in April, so he would be contracted to Roma until he’s 34 years old.
Meanwhile, Cristante turns 31 in March, so he would be tied to the club until he’s 35 years old.
Both players will reportedly be earning around €3.5m per season under the new agreements.
Mancini and Cristante have been teammates for close to a decade now, since they both joined Atalanta in 2017.
They have made a staggering 279 appearances together on the pitch.
Who Roma are looking to sign in January transfer window
With two big renewals close, Roma’s focus now shifts back to reinforcing the squad during a crucial January window.
Roma are prioritising attacking additions, with reports linking the club to a new forward capable of increasing goal output in the second half of the season.
For instance, Roma want Raspadori after he has had to make do with limited minutes following his move to Atletico Madrid.
However, arch-rivals Lazio are also eyeing Raspadori, and they have the Taty Castellanos money they can reinvest.
Roma also want Joshua Zirkzee, with talks described as ongoing despite complications caused by Manchester United’s recent managerial change.
A new winger is another area under consideration, particularly with injuries and inconsistency affecting Roma’s wide options this season.
In midfield, Roma are assessing whether depth is required, though the renewals of Mancini and Cristante reduce the urgency for structural changes.
