Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma had another night to forget as Bodo/Glimt ran out 3-1 winners in the Champions League.
City headed to Norway on Tuesday in hopes of putting Saturday’s painful derby defeat at Manchester United behind them.
However, things went wrong early on as Bodo surged into a 2-0 lead before adding a third on 58 minutes.
Rayan Cherki got a goal back, but Rodri’s sending off after two quickfire bookings ended any hopes of a late comeback.
But despite Donnarumma conceding three, the club’s fans were not overly angry with him.

Gianluigi Donnarumma was not an outlier among the Manchester City players. Like most of them, he didn’t cover himself in glory.
He let Kasper Hogh’s header slip through his legs before then not making himself big enough to stop the striker’s second.
However, Donnarumma did prevent things getting worse with two impressive saves with his legs in the second half.
The Italian was far from the worst performer in sky blue, and without him City could easily have conceded six or seven.
Fans acknowledged this, with one saying on X: “Donnarumma saved us against United and Bodo, otherwise it would have been a very embarrassing score board.
“He’s the only positive player in that (horror) show.”

And another said: “Donnarumma should leave this club, it’s going to spoil his name he has built for years.”
Why Manchester City will be sweating over Gianluigi Donnarumma future
Manchester City’s signing of Gianluigi Donnarumma was a coup, paying just £26m for the world’s best goalkeeper.
However, Donnarumma’s future is in doubt already, after just over six months at the Etihad.
As reported by FootItalia last month, he could look to move on depending on whether Pep Guardiola chooses to remain at the Etihad Stadium.
To make things worse, Donnarumma’s agent recently said his client is open to a potential return to Serie A.
Enzo Raiola told Italian broadcaster Rai: “Now at Manchester City, he’s finding peace with the team and the environment.
“He really likes the project. He’s also starting to understand the Premier League.
“The other day he jokingly told me that playing there for five or six years is an adventure, but it was a joke…
“But if the opportunity arises to return to Italy, we’ll seize it.”
