Juventus have completed the signing of Manchester City academy star Justin Oboavwoduo on a deal until 2028.
Just hours after Adin Licina joined Juventus from Bayern Munich, the Bianconeri have signed yet another incredibly exciting young talent.
Oboavwoduo, a 19-year-old forward, will link up with Juve’s Next Gen team, which competes in Serie C Group B.

Justin Oboavwoduo joins Juventus: background and early promise
Justin Oboavwoduo was born in Manchester in August 2006 and joined Manchester City’s academy system at eight years old.
He was part of the Man City Under-18 side which won the U18 Premier League national title in May 2023, scoring two goals in the final against West Ham U18.
A year later, Oboavwoduo played in the final as Man City beat Leeds United U18 to win the FA Youth Cup.
He was also included in the Manchester City squad that travelled to Saudi Arabia to play in the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup.
However, Oboavwoduo leaves Man City without a single competitive senior appearance to his name.

What Oboavwoduo brings to Juventus
Justin Oboavwoduo joins Juventus after making a name for himself in England’s academy sister.
He is a modern, versatile attacker, comfortable as a central striker, a wide forward, or in an attacking midfield role.
His academy numbers stand out, with City crediting him with 23 goals in 31 games at Under-18 level in 2022-23.
Juventus’ official website has described Oboavwoduo as a player ‘gifted with great speed, technique, and an eye for goal’.
Oboavwoduo has also featured for England Under-20s, testament to his potential and a sign that he is on the radar of the England setup.
He is a good finisher but not a static striker, often finding space through sharp movement and quick touches in crowded areas.
