Fabio Paratici Fiorentina era officially underway

It’s Fabio Paratici’s Day. Today is Fabio Paratici’s first day as Fiorentina’s new sporting director.

The former Juventus executive just got out of his contract with Tottenham and has already shown up at Viola Park.

Fabio Paratici is all set to take charge at Fiorentina at a pretty complicated time for the club. Indeed, this comes after the death of Rocco Commisso recently and Paolo Vanoli’s team still being at risk of being at the bottom of the league table.

A delicate moment for Fiorentina

Paratici is now in charge of Fiorentina’s transfer market.

His goal is to finish this season on a high note and then build the Viola team of the future.

The previous sporting director, Goretti, who was promoted in November to replace the outgoing Pradè, will stay on with the team.

Tomorrow at 1 p.m., Paratici will be at Viola Park for a press conference to talk about his new role.

Starting today, the former Juventus and Tottenham transfer guru will be working for Fiorentina.

ACF Fiorentina just announced that they’re having a press conference tomorrow, Thursday, February 5, at 1 p.m. at the Wind 3Media Center of Rocco B. Commisso Viola Park.

Fabio Paratici will be there, and he’ll be officially joining the Viola club as their sporting director.

Paratici takes control of Fiorentina’s transfer strategy

A few weeks ago, Fiorentina said that today was going to be the start of a new era with Paratici.

Lorenzo Giani is going to be the Head of Scouting for the First Team. Giani has worked with Paratici at Juventus and then at Tottenham, and he’s also been the head of scouting for Sampdoria, a club where the current Fiorentina sporting director worked as a consultant while he was suspended and couldn’t work in management positions.

Giani is a Florentine by passport (he’s originally from nearby Reggello), and he’s the new head scout for the Gigliati.
